About Raum Sandoval
Raum Sandoval is a technology executive who has spent his career helping organizations understand, secure, and modernize complex technology environments.
He previously served as Chief Innovation & Information Security Officer (CIISO) at Entara, where he led enterprise initiatives spanning cybersecurity, automation, artificial intelligence, and large-scale platform transformation. His work focused on helping leadership teams adopt emerging technologies while maintaining visibility, governance, and operational stability.
During his tenure, Raum directed major digital transformation efforts, including enterprise platform migrations, cloud modernization, and the integration of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Azure OpenAI across business operations. He also introduced modern data architecture that unified fragmented systems, enabling organizations to generate real-time insight from previously disconnected data.
Earlier in his career at Entara, Raum held multiple leadership roles including Chief Information Security Officer, Deputy CISO, and Director of Managed Services. In those positions he built and scaled security operations, developed governance frameworks aligned with CIS, NIST, SOC 2, and ISO 27001, and served as a virtual CISO to financial services organizations navigating complex regulatory and cybersecurity environments.
Before Entara, Raum held technical leadership roles at Ernst & Young and George Jon, where he led global infrastructure projects and engineered large-scale eDiscovery technology solutions.
Today Raum is the founder of Bakari Intelligence, where he works directly with executive teams to bring clarity and control to modern technology environments. His work focuses on helping organizations understand how their systems interact, where risk exists, and how technology decisions support long-term growth.
Raum holds a degree in Computer Networking from DePaul University and maintains multiple industry certifications including CISSP and ITIL.
Throughout his career, Raum has focused on bridging the gap between technology complexity and executive clarity — helping organizations adopt modern systems while maintaining confidence, control, and operational resilience.
